Why can flame-retardant cloth achieve a "flame retardant" effect?
Flame retardant fabric refers to a fabric that can automatically extinguish even when leaving an open flame, i.e. it will ignite when exposed to fire and will be extinguished immediately after leaving the fire. Flame retardant fabrics can be divided into post treated flame retardant fabrics and intrinsic flame retardant fabrics. After treatment flame-retardant fabric, also known as post-treatment flame-retardant fabric, is produced through coating and auxiliary treatment during dyeing and finishing. The flame-retardant effect gradually weakens after washing, and is generally used to produce things that are not frequently washed.
Reasons for achieving the "flame retardant" effect of flame-retardant fabrics
1. One of the reasons why these fabrics can achieve a "flame retardant" effect is the fibers contained in the fabric, which is a high-tech fiber new material with flame retardant and anti droplet properties. For example, all cotton flame-retardant fabric is a flame-retardant fabric made by flame retardant processing on the basis of all cotton dyed fabric. It includes all cotton flame-retardant plain fabric, all cotton flame-retardant gauze card, all cotton flame-retardant straight fabric, and all cotton flame-retardant canvas. This kind of fiber applies the latest sol gel technology, which enables inorganic polymer flame retardant to exist in the organic macromolecule of viscose fiber in a nano state or in an interpenetrating network state, which not only ensures the excellent physical properties of the fiber, but also realizes the characteristics of low smoke, non-toxic, odor free, non melting and dripping.
2. The second reason why flame-retardant fabrics can achieve a "flame retardant" effect is that Zhuocheng Textile uses flame retardants during the production and finishing of fabrics. The use of flame retardants is to enable fibers such as cotton and wool to have flame retardant properties after flame retardant finishing, while the research on flame retardant properties of synthetic fibers such as flame-retardant polyester and flame-retardant aramid is the research on flame retardant modification of synthetic fibers. Aramid flame-retardant fibers belong to the category of aromatic polyamides and are polyisophthaloyl isophthalamide fibers. Aramid flame-retardant fiber products have soft hand feel, good fluffiness, drapability, moisture absorption and breathability, high strength, wear resistance, drapability, good fabric finish, color fastness, and excellent characteristics such as carbonization and non melting when exposed to fire, thus meeting the quality requirements of high and medium grade flame-retardant clothing and decorative fabrics.
